( PL ) How to be zero waste in the office? … or at least produce less waste and be more eco-friendly? The 4 R’s will help you! Zero waste movement is all about reducing waste so as not to pollute the environment. Although producing no rubbish at all may be harder to accomplish, let’s see what we can do every day in the office to create less of it. Let the 4 R’s guide you! 1.   Refuse Refuse any single-use appliances like plastic straws in your beverages, cutlery, plastic cups for water or paper cups for tea and coffee. Zero waste challenge

( PL ) I recently came up with a small 30-day zero waste challenge. One day equals one mission on the way to zero waste. I decided to walk the walk and took it up immediately. Here are my results... But first, take a look at the challenge itself :) #1: What's in my trashcan? Kitty litter, food and veggies leftovers, plastics from sweets and juice bottles, cardboard and papers and a number of beer bottles. What to do with it? Leftovers soup (already begun collecting it), reducing sweets, buying leaf tea (will start it as soon as I am finished with all my reserves). Make my own juices and segregate papers, metals and what not. I am already segregating glass. I will do my best to start composting as soon as I move to my dream home. #2: I did. I do! I usually use plastic containers and bags made out of a curtain :). #3: Went to a bar with my colleagues. Ordered a beer and specifically told the barman not to give me the straw. Everything went smoothly (including the beer!)...

Project 10x10

PL One of the minimalist challenges that I recently resolved to undertake is Project 10x10. I learned about it on a Polish slow life and slow fashion blog Kameralna.com.pl . So, what's Project 10x10 all about? In short, it's about selecting 10 items of clothing for 10 days. Nothing more, nothing less. 10 clothes include tops, bottoms, dresses, and shoes. 10 clothes DO NOT include outerwear, lingerie, and accessories.   This is, for me, another level of a capsule wardrobe. We need to think of pieces of clothing that match each other and are suitable for our activities and season.  What is more, the clothes list can be amended if it originally it pans out incompatible with the weather. It perfectly addresses some problems that I had when creating my Project 333 capsule wardrobe for work .
